This affirmation is useful when you are feeling down or if a situation didn’t go the way you wanted it to. I have been dealing with some stuff this week and I definitely want to reach for a better feeling. I’m sure some of you do as well.
What affirmations help you the most?
Rosebud and I have been in the mood for smoothies Rosebud and I have been in the mood for smoothies lately. She loves to help me make them.
She gets the ingredients she wants from the fridge and helps put them in the blender. For this smoothie, we used:
1 cup almond milk,
1 cup vanilla yogurt, (plain for less sugar)
Five to 7 strawberries,
1 banana,
A hand full of blueberries.
Blend it to a smoothie consistency and enjoy.
It's great for breakfast or a snack.

The only way you will achieve your goals is if you step out of your comfort zone. What is one thing that you can do this week that scares you? One thing that can move you forward.
Mine is putting up these reels and video stories. I have always been uncomfortable putting myself out there, but I know that in order for my business to grow, my audience has to get to know the person behind the service.
Maybe for you it’s something different. Steping out of your comfort zone may be having a difficult conversation, starting a new project, doing a new exercise routine, starting a new job etc. It could be big or small. Whatever it is, I challenge you to take a baby step this week.

Especially the toys and art and craft supplies. This is one of the first steps I’ve taken. Buying this organizer and organizing the toys and supplies. I still have to do the same thing for the playroom, but this is the set up I have for now in the living room. How are you doing with your goals?

Since many of us spend so much time scrolling social media these days, it’s easy to get lost in comparing ourselves to others. This can bring up all our insecurities. If you start feeling this, it’s okay to take a step back from social media.
It’s also important to remember that we are only seeing what everyone wants us to see.
The clean house, the delicious looking meals, the happy family photos and the Pinterest worthy crafts. 
What you don’t see is all the effort to make things look that way. You don’t see the bad days that everyone has. We are all human and are never at 100% all the time.
Chances are that people are also comparing themselves to you. So while you are wishing you were more like them and have what they have, they may be thinking the same thing about you.

Yesterday, Rosebud and I went out in the snow to p Yesterday, Rosebud and I went out in the snow to play. Of course, there was a lot of shoveling to be done, but I took time to play with Rosebud. We built this snowman. Rosebud calls it the Chef Snowman. She says his hat looks like a chef’s hat.
Play is important for kids as play is how they learn best, but play is not just for kids. Play is good for everyone. Play helps us relax. Play is good for our mental health. Play can be a creative outlet. Play is good for physical health. 
Play for adults can be anything that you consider fun. Anything from doing a cross word puzzle to playing sports. How have you played in the past week?

I am working on a Valentines project for a special I am working on a Valentines project for a special someone. Rosebud wanted to get in on the fun, so I let her play around with the photo editor. She decided that the teddy bear would look cute sitting on top of the marshmallow in the middle of the hot chocolate. I love to create things even if it is just digitally.
